Terms & Conditions.
These terms explain how you can use this website and the basis on which we handle enquiries and quotes. Last updated: 16 July 2026.
This page is maintained by DAB Plastering and Building Services. Contract terms for a specific project are set out in the written quote we send after our free on-site survey — those quote terms take priority over anything on this page if there's a conflict.
About us

Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes and to enquire about our services. You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, submitting malicious content, or using automated tools to scrape or overload it.
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content is provided for general information and does not replace a written quote or specification.
Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the quote form or contacting us does not create a binding contract. A contract is formed only when you accept, in writing (including by email), a written quote we've sent you after a free on-site survey.
Written quotes are typically valid for 30 days from issue, unless the quote says otherwise. Prices assume the wall, ceiling or site condition matches what we recorded at survey — variations are only made in writing and are agreed with you before they take effect.
Our work
We carry out plastering and building work with reasonable skill and care in line with the specification in your accepted quote. Every job is covered by our £10 million public liability insurance — the policy schedule is available on request before work starts.
If any snag appears within a reasonable period after handover that is a result of our workmanship, contact us and we will come back to put it right. This is in addition to any statutory rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your written quote. We do not take card details through this website. Late payment may attract interest and reasonable recovery costs in line with UK law.
Cancellation
Where you have a statutory right to cancel a consumer contract, that right and the process for exercising it will be set out in your written quote or acceptance email. Some works cannot be cancelled once they have begun with your consent — this is explained in your quote.
Intellectual property
The design, layout, images and written content on this website are owned by or licensed to DAB Plastering and Building Services. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other copying, distribution or use requires our written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Liability arising from work carried out for you is governed by the terms of your written quote and the insurance in place.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
