15 Years, One Trowel, One Standard.
I'm Dave — owner of DAB Plastering & Building Services. I started out in engineering at college before finding my trade with a third-generation plasterer who taught me everything, and treated me like a son while he did it. That's the standard I've held every job to since.
About five or six years ago I started branching out into full renovation work — extensions, lofts, media walls, kitchens and bathrooms — because clients kept asking for one trusted team instead of five. Plastering is still my passion, and the finish that ties every job together.

How quickly can I get a quote?+
Most quotes go out within 2–3 working days after our team has visited to survey. Larger projects can take a little longer, and you'll be told upfront how long.
Are you insured?+
Yes — DAB carries £10M public liability insurance. Any subcontractors we bring in also carry their own.
Do you handle other trades too?+
Yes. Electricians, plumbers, gas engineers, tilers, structural engineers and architects are all part of the DAB team's trusted network — you don't have to chase anyone.
How do payments work?+
Bank transfer. Smaller jobs are usually paid on completion. Larger projects may require a deposit and staged payments — always agreed upfront.
What about guarantees?+
We don't hand out fixed-term paperwork — but our team will always return to sort any issue within a reasonable timeframe. It's why most of our work comes from repeat clients and referrals.
